*************************** * GRAVITY KILLS SONG LIST * Last update: 18Nov03 *************************** ================================================================== Compiled by Grant Birchmeier (aka JimTheta) p g n e @ r . e r a t v n e t r b t e d ================================================================== PERVERTED: All kinds of Gravity Kills information - * http://grantb.net/perverted/index.html ================================================================== I tried to compile a list of every Gravity Kills song and every album that contains a GK song. This document is no longer updated. The band has broken up. CONTENTS -------- 1. Questions that I need answered 2. CD Code Legend 3. The Song List 4. Non-Essential Albums 5. Document History 6. End ================================================================== 1 QUESTIONS THAT I NEED ANSWERED = ================================================================== -What country is P1 (Perversion import with bonus track "Alive Hurricane Mix") from? -Test Drive 5 for Playstation contains GK songs. I think the tracks are "Falling" and "Falling (dub)". As I do not own a Playstation, could someone confirm this info, check if the track is the full album version, and tell me what the hell the "dub" is? -Test Drive Off-Road for Playstation - Is this the same as the PC version with respect to the songs on it? -Can someone confirm the 2 track Down promo single's existence for me? -If you know of any discs with GK that I don't have here, by all means, let me know and I'll get it on here. If you have an answer, or a correction to the list below, send me an email, but /please/ make sure that you /know/ the answer. I want this list to be as accurate as possible. If you tell me that you own the album you're telling me about, I'll be less inclined to question your accuracy. Hint: If your tip contains the phrase "I think...", don't send it. I need solid, reliable answers. ================================================================== 2 CD CODE LEGEND ("essential" albums only) = ================================================================== 7 - Seven soundtrack Aps - Alive promo single (2 tracks) Af - Alive flawed promo single (packaging is same as regular, but the disc has only 1 track, the Hurricane Mix) Bps - Blame promo single (3 tracks) Dps - Down promo single (1 track) Ep1 - Enough promo single (1 track) Ep2 - Enough promo single (2 tracks) Euk - Enough UK import single (4 tracks) Evp - Enough 12" vinyl promo 2 (4 tracks; all Enough mixes) ELA - Escape from L.A. soundtrack Fps - Falling promo single (1 track) GK - Gravity Kills / promo release (promo has "Forward" titled as "Take"; same song, different name) Gms - Guilty maxi-single (11 tracks) Gps - Guilty promo single (1 track) (also cassette) Gpc - Pre-first album Guilty promo cassette (2 tracks) Guk - Guilty UK import single (4 tracks) Gv - Guilty vinyl (6 tracks) (promo?) It was supposed to just be "Belief", but somehow it was changed when the Perversion disc was printed. This fun fact was mentioned in the 17Apr00 online chat. * On some prerelease versions of the self-titled disk, "Forward" is titled "Take". It was renamed before release. ================================================================== 4 NON-ESSENTIAL ALBUMS = ================================================================== This list contains those CDs that have one or two GK tracks that are not unique (i.e. are already contained on Gravity Kills, Manipulated, the Guilty Single, or Perversion), and are not historically important to GK and fans (ie the Seven and Mortal Kombat soundtracks helped GK become popular, so they are not on the non-essential list). Help me fill my list. It should be noted that this list is pretty low priority, because there's a lot of wierd, forgettable compilations out there. *Alive -Ozzfest '98 (disc 2) -Summer of Loud (TVT band compilation cassette) *Alive (Hurricane Mix) -Offroad Tracks Vol. 16 (radio promo album) *Down (Lords of Acid Power Remix) -Got TVT? Fixed the list to reflect this. -I found the CMJ I was looking for! Found it at www.cddb.com. (The disc also has Therapy? on it; another fav band of mine) -Oh shit. I just found out that if you search for "Gravity Kills" as a /song/ on CDDB, then you get like 60 friggin' matches. I'll go through them later. -Added Ozzfest '98 to Non-Essential Albums. (Can't believe that one slipped by - I've owned it for at least a year...) 13Mar00 -Some dude on eBay had scans of damn near every inch of the Guilty promo single, so I guess that's pretty good proof of the disc's existence. Added it to the list. -I'm so lame. I started looking through completed GK auctions on eBay for stuff to add to this list. Added Enough promo single and Falling promo single. -Added Perversion promo release (same as regular release) 11Mar00 -I just got the Enough UK import and the Blame promo single off of eBay, so those are in here now 22Feb00 -Identified Test Drive 5, waiting for more info -Perversion Jap import confirmed [Butane phyre] -confirmed Guilty on Seven sdtk is album version [Butane phyre] -confirmed Goodbye (demo) is same on Guilty single and Mortal Kombat sdtk [Butane phyre] -Guilty on Aggro 2000 confirmed via CDNow 21Feb00 -added forthcoming "Industrial:Music..." to Non-Essentials -added a question 20Feb00 -major layout revision because the old layout was half-ass -grammar fixes -table of contents added -no new info -this doc is now linked from the GK's official web page.
